A hardscape crew, not a sales office
Moderna Contracting is a hardscape contractor based in the Greater Toronto Area, working on residential properties across the region. The person who prepares your quote is on site while the work is carried out.
Who we are
We build retaining walls, flagstone, interlocking patios, parging and fences. That is the whole list. We are not a general renovation company that also takes on stonework, and we do not subcontract the installation to outside crews.
Most of our work comes from homeowners who saw a neighbour's patio or wall and asked who built it. That is the standard we quote to.
Three standards we hold to
We quote what we saw
The price comes after we have stood in your yard and measured. It lists materials, labour and disposal, and it does not move unless you change the scope.
We build the base first
Nobody sees the excavation or the compaction, and that is where a job succeeds or fails. We do not shorten it to meet a price.
We leave it clean
Off cuts, pallets, old fence boards and excavated soil leave with us. The driveway is swept before we leave.
Where we work
Toronto and the rest of the Greater Toronto Area, including North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Brampton and the Durham towns.
If you are just outside that area, contact us anyway and we will let you know.
What we do not do
If you ask us for one of those, we will decline rather than learn on your property.
