What we do, and how we do it
Five trades under one crew. Everything below is work we carry out ourselves, for homes in Toronto and the surrounding cities.
Retaining walls
Walls that hold soil have one job, and it is structural. We build them for grade changes, raised garden beds, driveway edges and walkouts.
Taller walls can need an engineer and a permit in some municipalities. We check that before we quote so there are no surprises once work is underway.
Flagstone
Natural stone for the places people walk: front porches, side paths, back landings and steps. Every piece is a different shape, so the fitting is the work.
Flagstone is sold by the pallet and the colour varies between lots. We show you the stone before it is laid so you know what to expect.
Interlocking patios
Pavers give you a flat, level surface you can repair one stone at a time. We lay patios, walkways, driveways and steps, with borders and banding that make the pattern read.
Parging
Parging is the cement coat on the exposed part of your foundation. When it cracks and falls off, water gets in behind it. We remove the loose material and apply a coat that lies flat and sheds water.
Fences
Property line fences, privacy screens and gates in pressure treated wood. Straight lines, and gates that still swing properly after a season.
Height limits and line fence rules differ by municipality, and a shared fence is a conversation with your neighbour. We can tell you what applies on your street.
Not sure which of these your yard needs?
Text us photos. We will tell you what the job actually involves before we quote it.
